The chess club is open to players who have had several months of chess playing experience. These include avid, intermediate, even tournament players. Our instructor is chess expert, Julio Maldonado, a US Chess Federation class A rated player. Mr. Maldonado is an instructor with the American Chess Teachers Association. Students will learn typical chess strategies, how to think several moves ahead, and all the common checkmates.
Class will not be held on Friday, April 23.
