Wheel Thrown Pottery & Beyond FA10

Learn the basics of how to use the potter's wheel as a tool to make functional or sculptural pots.

Topics include: centering clay on the wheel, making even-walled cylinders (and other forms), trimming and adding finishing touches to your pots, decorating the surface to activate your pots, and basic hand-building techniques.

A new kiln was installed in 2018.

All pieces will be finished and ready to enjoy!

A materials and firing fee, payable to the instructor at the first class, is $85
