You say “meatball,” we say “polpetta.” That’s Italian! In this class, we’ll make traditional meatballs using Maria’s Sicilian Grandmother’s much-loved recipe. Meatballs aren’t made just of meat. Savory non-meat meatballs of eggplant and porcini mushrooms are also on the menu with a delicious tomato sauce. Bring a 3-quart pot with a lid to take the eggplant/mushroom meatballs and sauce home. Due to time constraints, the traditional meat meatballs will be taken home to either fry or freeze. Amore!
