Cancellation Policy

Adult Classes

Cancellation Policy: Student initiated cancellations before the class start date will result in a program credit less a $20 withdrawal fee per class and less the materials fee, if applicable. There are no credits for no shows or cancellations less than 48 hours before the class start date. Material/food fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from any credit due. Refunds will only be issued for classes cancelled by WCE. (Please allow four to six weeks for check refunds to be processed.)

Kids Classes

Childcare

Contract Change Policy: Contract changes require dated, written notification including student's name, program name, and requested date of the change. Reductions incur a two (2) week fee at the current tuition rate. All contract changes are subject to a $100 administrative fee and may be subject to space availability.  

Beginning August 16, two (2) weeks prior to the start of school, the following will apply: 

  • Contract changes involving a reduction of days can be effective immediately, upon notice of the requested date of change. Reductions will incur a two-week fee at the current tuition rate. 
  • Contract changes increasing the number of days and resulting in an increase in tuition require two weeks advance notice. Tuition changes are effective on the planned date of change.
  • Contract changes involving a change in days only (no reduction or addition) require two weeks advance notice.
  • All changes (other than reductions) are subject to space availability.

Contract Cancellation Policy: Contract cancellations require dated, written notification including student's name, program name, and requested withdrawal date. Beginning August 16, two (2) weeks prior to the start of school, contract cancellations will incur a four (4) week fee at the current tuition rate plus a $100 administrative fee. If there is a refund due, a check from the Town of Wilton will be issued. 

Enrichment & Activities

Cancellation Policy: Parent-initiated cancellations will result in a program credit less a $20 withdrawal fee. Materials fees are non-refundable. There are no credits for no shows or cancellations less than 5 business days before the start of class. Students must withdraw from a 1-2 week program, 10 business days prior to the start of the class to receive a program credit. No credit or refund will be issued after the session begins. Refunds will only be issued for classes cancelled by WCE.

Music

Cancellation Policy: Parent-initiated cancellations of an entire series of lessons within ten days of registration will result in a program credit less a $20 withdrawal fee. No credit or refund will be issued after a series of lessons begin.

Summer Cancellation Policy: A parent/student initiated cancellation will result in a loss of that lesson unless Wilton Continuing Education is able to reschedule the lesson during the six week session, teacher schedule permitting. No shows cannot be made up and no program credit will be issued.

Girls Gymnastics

Cancellation Policy: Parent-initiated cancellations will result in a program credit less a $20 withdrawal fee. There are no credits for no shows or cancellations less than 5 business days before the start of class. No credit or refund will be issued after the session begins. Refunds will only be issued for classes cancelled by WCE.

Summer

Cancellation Policy: Parent-initiated cancellations will result in a program credit less a $20 withdrawal fee. There are no credits for no shows or cancellations less than 5 business days before the start of the week-long class. Refunds will only be issued for classes cancelled by WCE.
